For some reason, this mothers day was a lot harder on me than last mothers day. I could not stop thinking about my mom. In her memory, my dad and I went to the beach and released balloons. We did this last year with my two sisters, it was our first Mother's Day without her. Because it was my second year without her, I thought it would be easier than last year, but I was wrong. Time doesn't heal all wounds.
From last Mother's Day to this Mother's Day.

The Ocean
I took this photo at the beach on one of the few rainy days that we have in California.
"Because there is nothing more beautiful than the way the ocean refuses to stop kissing the shoreline, no matter how many times it is sent away" -Sarah Kay
I love this quote because it tells us to never give up.

Hope and Faith
Sometimes we can't see the whole picture. Sometimes we only see what we have NOW, we only see what is in front of us. You may feel like falling apart, but remember, "Am I seeing the whole picture?" Have hope and faith to be able to understand that there is more to life than just trials.
What is next?
These past few days I have been stressed about this upcoming school year. I am stressed because I can't decide on something. I prayed and asked for direction, but my father soon told me that sometimes the Lord wants us to choose our own decisions. It is our life to live, and sometimes we need to decide for ourselves. In the picture I took below, the beginning is focused but the middle and end is unfocused. honestly I don't know what I should do, but we can't all see our future. Sometimes we just need to pay attention to NOW, not later.

You Choose...
Sometimes it is hard to come up with something that has an important
meaning. It took me a while to come up with something about the photo
here. I took the photo below in Old Sacramento, the stairs in the photo
are what the clothes line lead to. The stairs display how in life, we
choose our path, to either go up or to go down. I know, sometimes it is really hard to stay happy when something is eating at you inside, but most of the time, we have a choice, we don't have to be mad all day. In other words, we choose to be happy.
